Injury Recovery
Log what hurts, get a recovery plan, and keep training where you can.
Pro feature - included in the 7-day free trial.
Record the injury properly
Trailia lets you log an injury with body location, pain level on a 1 to 10 scale, symptoms, and the activity context in which it appeared. You can also backdate it if the issue started before you thought to record it. That detail matters because Trailia uses it to generate a relevant recovery plan rather than a generic one.
A personalised recovery plan
Once you log an injury, Trailia generates a structured recovery plan covering a possible diagnosis, an estimated recovery timeline, specific strategies across rest, stretching, and strengthening, and modifications to your training so you can keep moving where your body allows.
Track your progress with check-ins
Recovery isn't linear. Each check-in lets you log your current pain level, whether symptoms are improving, and what activities you've been able to do. Trailia tracks this over time so you can see the trend, not just how you feel today.
Modified training during recovery
Being injured doesn't mean stopping entirely. Trailia can generate a modified training plan that works around your injury, maintaining aerobic fitness and strength where possible while protecting the affected area. If cycling is appropriate as a substitute, it can be incorporated as cross-training.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Injury Recovery a Pro feature?
Yes. Personalised recovery plans and modified training generation are available on Trailia Pro, including the 7-day free trial.
Is this a replacement for seeing a physio or doctor?
No. Trailia's recovery plans are intended to help you manage training decisions around an injury, not to diagnose or treat it medically. For persistent or serious injuries, see a qualified professional.
Can I log an injury that started before I joined Trailia?
Yes. The injury log supports backdating so you can accurately record when symptoms first appeared.
Does logging an injury automatically change my training plan?
Not automatically. After logging an injury and generating a recovery plan, you can choose to generate a modified training plan that accounts for your current limitations.
What happens when I recover?
You mark the injury as resolved via the recovery completion dialog. From there, your training plan can return to its normal structure.
